Should Biden Be More Worried About World War Three or The Atrocities Being Perpetrated In the Ukraine?

There seems to be a lot of hand wringing both politically and militarily in Washington and the Pentagon regarding what might happen, versus what is happening in the Ukrainian war.

President Biden has consistently said we will not provide direct military support to the Ukrainians, nor will we recommend a no-fly zone over the Ukraine which would more than likely involve US combat pilots engaging with Russian combat pilots to control the Ukrainian airspace.

Biden fears a third World War, and his fears are being stoked by the military elite at the Pentagon saying any involvement could lead to World War III.

Here's the fact, World War III hasn't started yet and the atrocities in the Ukraine keep growing every day. To me, the real question here is: how can the United States of America, a faith-based political system, for the most part, stand idly by while hundreds if not thousands of Ukrainian men, women and children are slaughtered by the Russian invasion?

It is certainly reminiscent of the view’s countries took just prior to the Second World War.  And look what happened there. Once the Nazis gained a foothold, they weren't satisfied with the territory they'd gained they just kept on coming.

That is certainly more than likely what will happen if Russia is successful and totally captures the Ukraine. It may be one year, two years or five years from now, but the real certainty is the longer it goes the stronger the Russian military influence in that part of the world will be and the more likely this war will be on the doorsteps of all of Europe and perhaps the continental United States.

It's just simply time to quit wringing our hands about what Russia might do and simply deal with the fact of what they are doing.

They are indiscriminately killing innocent people. Almost every country in the world either has or is teetering on calling what's going on in the Ukraine war crimes.

It is inhumane, and the most-recent assignment of General Alexander Dvornikov is a clear indication that the Russians have every inclination to keep killing innocent civilians.

So, President Biden, it's time to put on your big boy pants think of Harry Truman, for example, maybe a little of that moxie could enter itself into your spirit and your soul.

I'm not sure how well you sleep at night knowing that the United States with all of its military power, technological savvy, global capability and satellite capacity can stand idly by regardless of those little pieces of paper that people signed about non-aggression and overstepping and all that stuff and watch hundreds if not thousands of people die unnecessarily.

All I know is I don't sleep well these nights knowing that's how the view of the leaders of my country is playing out.
